Introduction
At Apex Drafting & Partners, we do not operate like a standard marketing website. We operate as a seamless, secure extension of your engineering department. We understand that in the millwork industry, your Intellectual Property (IP)—your construction methods, block libraries, and architectural relationships—is your most valuable asset.

This policy outlines how we protect that asset.
Information We Collect
We collect two distinct types of data to facilitate our engineering services:
-
Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, and company role (via forms like our "Initiate Pilot" or "Contact" pages).
-
Proprietary Project Data: Architectural drawing sets (PDF/DWG), internal shop standards, material specifications, and project scopes uploaded by you to facilitate estimation or drafting execution.
How We Use Your Information
This is our core promise to our partners:
-
Ownership: Any files, standards, or dynamic blocks you upload to Apex Drafting (including for the purpose of a "Pilot Project" or estimation) remain 100% your exclusive property. We claim no ownership over your engineering methods.
-
Non-Distribution: Your project files are never shared, sold, or distributed to third parties. They are strictly confined to the Apex Drafting production team assigned to your account.
-
The "Pilot" Guarantee: If you engage in our "Free Room" Pilot Program, the data you submit is treated with the same confidentiality rigor as a fully contracted project. If we do not proceed with a partnership, your files are purged from our active production servers upon request.
Sharing Your Information
We use your data strictly for operational execution:
-
To provide accurate estimations and "Redline" reports.
-
To execute drafting services (Shop Drawings, Submittals).
-
To communicate project status and RFI (Request for Information) queries.

We do not sell your data. We are in the business of engineering, not data brokering.
Third-Party Operational Tools
To maintain "Velocity" and scalability, we utilize enterprise-grade third-party tools. By using our services, you acknowledge our use of:
-
Google Workspace: For secure file storage and email communication.
-
Jibble: For granular time-tracking and project auditing.
-
Autodesk Solutions: For CAD execution.

All vendors are vetted for enterprise-level security compliance.
Data Security
Access to your sensitive project data is restricted based on the "Need to Know" principle. Only the Project Manager and Drafters specifically assigned to your project can access your architectural sets. We do not allow "floating" access to client files across our general staff.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access: Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
Correction: Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal obligations.
Objection: Object to the processing of your personal information under certain circumstances.
To exercise these rights, please contact us at info@apex-drafting.com.
Changes To This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
